Cabarete Mountain Villa

The owner, a successful European businessman who had traveled the world extensively, desired an ocean-view home in the cooler altitudes of the coast range behind Cabarete. He found his dream property in one of the most exclusive residential communities of the Dominican Republic’s verdant North Coast. The villa brief given to EMUArchitects was detailed and very specific. The house would take advantage of the views of ocean and mountains in every direction, and would include great interior visual sightlines and a feeling of uninterrupted flow from interior over cooling water features to lushly planted specimen gardens.
